Self-Reflection
Welcome to my reflections page. Here, I share insights from my academic and professional journey, highlighting key projects and experiences that have shaped my development as a management professional. My coursework and real-world experience have strengthened my confidence and broadened my understanding of how leadership, ethics, strategy, and technology contribute to effective organizational performance.
The four artifacts in this portfolio demonstrate how I have applied theory to practice across diverse areas of management. My presentation on sex discrimination reflects my ability to design and deliver HR compliance training while addressing critical issues such as workplace equity, inclusion, and leadership responsibilities. This experience reinforced the importance of ethical decision-making and the need for managers to cultivate respectful, accountable work environments.
My research paper on codes of conduct and ethics deepened my understanding of organizational values, social responsibility, and regulatory compliance. Through this analysis, I learned how ethical frameworks influence culture and how clearly defined standards promote integrity and reduce organizational risk.
The Percipio presentation strengthened my appreciation for information systems and digital learning tools. Exploring how technology enhances communication, accessibility, and operational efficiency helped me recognize the role digital integration plays in modern management.
Finally, my Heavey Pumps case study allowed me to apply critical thinking, data interpretation, and decision-making to a complex business challenge. This assignment strengthened my ability to evaluate supply chain risks, analyze organizational problems, and recommend evidence-based solutions.
Together, these experiences represent more than assignments—they reflect my growth in strategic thinking, ethical reasoning, communication, and technological understanding. Each project has contributed to shaping my identity as a leader who values integrity, continuous learning, and practical problem-solving.
