CJ Industries and Heavey Pumps

Introduction
This assignment required a structured case study analysis of CJ Industries and its informal supplier, Heavey Pumps, focusing on operational risks, supply chain uncertainty, production capacity, and strategic decision-making. The goal was to evaluate the company’s current vendor relationship, analyze potential alternatives, and recommend a viable plan to ensure contract compliance with Great Lakes, its largest client.

Summary of Assignment
I evaluated the company’s internal operations, leadership approaches, and strategic challenges. The analysis included assessing ethical concerns, communication breakdowns, structural inefficiencies, and opportunities for organizational improvement. I also developed recommendations supported by management theories and best practices.
